Description

The photovoltaic solar control blades manufactured by Solar Innova are multifunctional:
They work as a solar control device, which helps reduce energy needs in air conditioning. There are facades in buildings that receive a large amount of solar radiation and the slats help protect and reduce heat transfer to the interior.
They increase the insulation of the building as they act as windbreaks.
They diffuse light and control glare, contributing to more pleasant natural light conditions.
They filter UV radiation, mitigating the degradation of the interior.
They generate clean and free electricity, reduce the carbon footprint of the building and contribute to obtaining energy certifications.
They are part of the architecture, since they are not added to it as is the case with traditional photovoltaic panels, the solar control slats are made of photovoltaic glass.
Each solar control slat is made up of two laminated tempered glasses. They do not have a frame and are installed horizontally or vertically. Junction boxes, cables, and connectors can be hidden, perfecting the project layout.
Both the slat depth and the horizontal distance between slats are pre-analyzed to optimize system performance and help prevent self-shading situations that could affect efficiency.
